Never lose your Wacom pen while working!

(fig.01)

So after a couple of times of thinking that I've lost my Wacom pen while working, I decided to find a temporary solution. I would often set the Wacom pen down and a few minutes later have that lost look on my face. Saying to myself, "Where is my pen?" This was something that would kill my workflow. So why not find a way to attach this pen to my finger so I don't lose it. I looked online and found this Kickstarter Link. So this guy made a ring that attaches to a pen and sticks together with magnets. I was like cool! So how can I do something similar without having to pay much. If you will see (fig.01) you can see I have some Velcro and my pen. Ohh yeah... now we are cooking! Now I buy these rolls of Velcro for the house to keep wires and other things together (example: pens to fingers). You can usually find these rolls at Wally world (Wal-Mart) in the hardware section. They don't cost much and I think you will find they have lots of uses!

After a little trial and error I found a comfortable way to keep the pen attached while working. It was a little odd at first, but after using this method for a week it actually felt normal after a while. I had found keeping it loose around your finger helped when needing to type on the keyboard. So now I keep Velcro on all my Wacom pens.

As you can see in the images it might look silly at first. But after a couple of weeks you might see that it helps you from having to set your pen down and losing time working.
