Procreate
For those out there that have an Apple Ipad or Iphone I highly recommend Procreate. There are many features you can find on the website that explain each feature. This is just my quick review of what I think of Procreate. It is the closest thing that I have come to that feels like naturally drawing or painting on a tablet. Now I have an older Ipad and I don't have all the new features that the latest update has, but it still is the best thing out there that I've used. The brush strokes feel smooth and very natural. And the interface is easy to navigate. Although you can get very technical and use all the hand gesture features included.
The Brushes
There plenty of brushes to choose from the drop down window. You can also create your own custom brushes. Going through each brush does help when first starting out so you familiarize yourself with the different types. The types of brushes range from sketching with a 2B pencil to airbrushing. I have really enjoyed using the paint brushes that are default, very little adjusting needed.
There are also layers you can add with different types of adjustment layers on top of that. So this gives you even more control of your art as you move along.
The feature I really enjoy using is the export video. After you feel you are finished with your art you can export you video to see each brush stroke as you make the image.
You can purchase Procreate in the Apple store right now for just $9.99. In my opinion that is a really good deal considering what all your getting with this app. And no I don't work for Procreate. I just feel this app is worth having and using for anyone who is an artist and loves to create digital art.
