I've been doing some daily morning sculpts in Zbrush lately to get back in the habit of doing more sculpting. I find that early in the morning it is easier to start with a clean slate and just start sculpting it to get the mind going. This sculpt of Frankenstein's Monster started as a daily sculpt but ended up going a few days longer and put in Photoshop to do some comping. I find that doing a daily sculpt it can push momentum to get something started even if you don't plan on finishing it. To create something is better than doing nothing in the long run for me. But I find that it usually ends up pushing me to do more and actually try and finish what I create. These early morning routines are to test out ideas and learn new techniques while watching some YouTube video to learn from others. So this video attached is the process of getting the 3d model from ZBrush to Photoshop. They have a really good plugin in with ZBrush that makes this process very quick and easy to do. I really want to start using this method a little more so I can get quick ideas out and learn new techniques as I go.
